About us
S.E.W.F is a Tanzanian non-governmental organization in Tarime, Mara, working for human rights, social justice and sustainable development nationwide.
The Social and Economic Welfare Foundation (S.E.W.F) is a non-governmental organization registered in Tanzania. Our head office is in Matongo ward, Tarime District, Mara Region, and we work across the country.
We stand with women, children, disabled people, the elderly and small-scale farmers, whose safety, dignity and livelihoods are most at risk. Our approach joins legal aid, education, health, environment, agriculture and enterprise, because these problems are connected.
We want a society where people uphold integrity and unity, obey the laws of the land, and share in social, cultural and economic development.
